Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic District Nurse to join the North Alliance community Nursing teams as a Community Nurse Educator. You will provide clinical leadership, support safe and effective care, and help shape the future of community nursing. The role involves fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaborating with leadership, and maximising development opportunities. You will share clinical knowledge, provide group supervision, and contribute to a rich learning environment using case studies. The successful candidate will also liaise with the clinical training unit to ensure the workforce has the necessary skills for evolving demands.
Essential criteria
- Bachelor's degree (Masters Level)
- Current NMC registration
- V300 Independent Nurse Prescribing (or working towards)
- Specialist Practice Qualification District Nursing
- Registered Mentor/Assessor
Desirable criteria
- Teaching qualification
- Experience of developing and delivering training using a variety of methods
- Experience of assessment and management of people with long term conditions & complex physical health needs
- Quality Improvement experience
- Training
