Role summary
This role is for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) within the Specialist Eating Disorders Unit at Haldon Unit in Exeter. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, participating in a 24/7 shift rota. Key responsibilities include clinical decision-making, leading shifts as Nurse in Charge, and supporting patients with mealtimes and potential NG feeding. The role offers an excellent opportunity to expand knowledge and skills in eating disorder care.
Essential criteria
- RMN/ Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with current registration.
- A willingness to complete Trust Mandatory Courses (will be required to complete and undertake relevant Physical
- Interventions training with adjustments considered if required)
- Experience working as a Band 5 RMN
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with people with an eating disorder
- RMN/ Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with current registration.
