Role summary
This is a new opportunity for a highly-skilled and enthusiastic research professional to lead the Volatile Organic Complex research portfolio. The role involves overseeing a team of Clinical Research Practitioners and Research Nurses to deliver observational clinical research studies across three hospital sites. The successful candidate will also be actively involved in recruitment, team leadership, and light trial management duties for Imperial College London, including assistance with NHS costings and PPIE activities. Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills are essential to meet study targets and raise the profile of research within the Trust.
Essential criteria
- Health professional registration or first degree in life sciences
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience
- Teaching qualification of equivalent experience
- Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
Desirable criteria
- Project Management qualification or experience
- Relevant experience within a relevant speciality
- Understanding of National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), its values, aims and structure
- Proven clinical research experience & knowledge in Research Governance Framework and ICH GCP
- Experience of supervision and line management of staff
- Education/ qualifications

We have a new post opportunity for a highly-skilled, and enthusiastic research professional to come and lead our Volatile Organic Complex research portfolio of high-volume, fast paced observational studies.
