Role summary

This role involves providing administrative support to the Complex Discharge Office, including word processing, data input, report generation, and managing spreadsheets. Key responsibilities

  • Manage data quality and patient information, including investigating discrepancies and producing accurate reports.
  • Plan, organise, and prioritise own workload and provide clerical support to the team.
  • Assist in new staff induction and train discharge coordinators on computer systems.

  • Qualification(s) and Professional Training
  • GCSE Grade C, or above/equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
  • Work to intermediate standard PowerPoint Excel Database management
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Evidence of good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people in a variety of situations and settings
  • Clear and concise communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Willing and able to learn new skills

  • Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information to people who might be anxious or upset
