Role summary

This role is for an experienced and motivated Senior Clinical Application Analyst with a background in Diagnostic Radiology. You will provide specialist support for clinical applications like PACS, RIS, and Epic Radiant/Lumens, leading investigations and coordinating supplier escalations. Essential criteria

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC Registered Diagnostic Radiographer

  • Epic Accreditation (Radiant and/or Lumens).
  • PACS Administration qualification
  • Experience working within a Radiology department
  • Experience supporting PACS and/or RIS systems
  • Experience supporting clinical applications and digital workflows
  • Workflow mapping and optimisation
  • Epic Radiant and Lumens experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Radiology and imaging workflows
  • Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems
  • Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards
  • Understanding of Epic Radiant and Lumens functionality
  • Knowledge of NHS national digital programmes

Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Clinical Application Analyst with experience in Diagnostic Radiology to join our Clinical Applications Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for staff with strong application knowledge who want to take on specialist-level responsibilities, lead improvement activity and support the development of our digital capability across the Trust.

  • Need to be HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer
  • Provide second-line and specialist support for designated clinical and business applications
  • Lead investigations into complex or recurring issues and coordinate supplier escalations
  • Could have a clinical background but is looking for a different career path
  • Or, has specialist experience supporting digital or clinical systems
  • Understands configuration, change control, testing and incident/problem management
  • Communicates complex concepts clearly to clinical and non-clinical users
  • Has strong analytical, problem-solving and workflow-mapping skills
  • Can work autonomously, prioritise effectively and contribute to sprint delivery
  • Experience with Epic or other enterprise-level clinical applications is desirable. Full training and CPD opportunities will be provided.
