Job summary

Arnold Lodge is a medium secure psychiatric hospital in Leicester that provides care and treatment for male and female patients, who have mental health issues that require treatment within a Medium Secure setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our well-established Control Room team delivering an efficient and effective high quality service. which contributes significantly to the safe and secure functioning of the Hospital.

You would be based in the Control Room at Arnold Lodge. The post requires 24 hour cover, therefore unsocial hours, weekend working and night duties would be required.

Main duties of the job

As part of the Control Room team you will provide a professional and efficient security service to the hospital

Key duties include controlling access to the site, monitoring a range of security technologies including key management, access control, radio communications and alarm systems and conducting security checks in liaison with Wards and other Departments

You will also be required to provide a Reception service outside of normal office hours and so will deal with visitors, health and social care professionals as well as with patients and their family and carers.
