Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and adaptable Practise Educator to join a caring and progressive team within Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will use their knowledge and experience to support frontline NHS teams, contributing to excellent patient care. The role requires a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and the ability to adapt to challenges. It is currently open to internal NHS staff within Kent and Medway.
Essential criteria
- You will have a Level 6 Degree or equivalent qualification, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience plus a diploma in nursing
- You'll need to have experience of managing complex caseloads and supporting/ mentoring others.
- You will be a registered health care professional with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Knowldege and skills
- You'll need have sound communication skills in order to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Having an awareness of developments within the NHS would be an advantage as well as an understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance.
- You will understand where to signpost clients and families to alternative services to support behaviour change and improve health.
- You will have knowledge of up to date clinical practice by using up- to- date skills and adhering to evidence-based procedures and clinical effectiveness
- Personal Attributes
- A full, valid UK driving licence or a full driving licence issued by an EU country (not exchanged from a non-EU country) and the ability to travel independently are essential for this role.
