Role summary
This role involves leading the development and delivery of an Integrated Home First Medicines Optimisation Service. The aim is to improve safe transfer and use of medicines across clinical interfaces and meet legal requirements and CQC standards. Essential criteria
- BTEC and NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Science
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Desirable criteria
- Nationally recognised qualification as accredited Medicines Management Technician
- Nationally recognised Accredited Checking Technician Certificate
- Knowledge of the principles of medicines optimisation
- Experience in a broad range of hospital/community pharmacy activities, including dispensary management and clinical pharmacy activites
- Risk Managment
- Staff Management
