Essential criteria
- Current Professional Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council - RMN / RNLD/ RGN (RNSC - CAMHS Only.
- Recognised Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor

- And have Professional clinical knowledge and experience acquired through degree (or equivalent post registration study), supplemented by specialist training, experience, short courses, Module (20 credit) at level 7 For example Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Masters Degree, Intermediate Systemic Family Therapy/Postgraduate diploma in CBT/British Isles Dialectical Behaviour Therapy /NMP (Independent Prescriber), Psychosocial Interventions
- And have Equivalent significant clinical experience such as working (minimum of 2 years) as a band 6 (or above) in relevant clinical area, together with evidence of relevant CPD to Level 7 or equivalent
- Significant experience working with patients with complex needs in the specialist field
- Significant experience working with patients who display risk behaviours
- Clinical risk assessment and management and its application in practice
- Working collaboratively with service users their families and carers
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Quality improvement activities

- Ability to travel independently accordance with trust policies and service need.

Job summary
An exciting, opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior registered nurse to join the Scarborough Integrated community team, adult mental health.
We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Nurse within our adult community mental health team. The successful applicant will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with considerable skills and experience, and a thorough knowledge and understanding of Community services in planed care.
The post holder will be an active part of the senior leadership team whilst maintaining a high level of clinical skill, including managing a caseload, engaging in assessments, and offering clinical supervision and coaching to the team and wider service. You will be involved in all service development work and will also promote and role model engagement in local and national drivers and policies.
A thorough understanding of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act will be essential to the role as these will provide the framework for all consideration.
