Role summary
This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Psychology Service's clinical and management teams. As the first point of contact, you will ensure service users, carers, relatives, and professionals receive a professional and supportive service. You will join a dedicated team committed to delivering excellent psychological care and support, contributing to a patient-centred service. Essential criteria
- oKnowledge and experience of general IT systems including Microsoft Office (to include Outlook, Word and Excel), database management
- oEducated to GCSE level or equivalent knowledge and experience
- oSignificant experience of working at an administrative level in a relevant setting
- oUnderstand the importance of confidentiality and experienced in implementing processes to comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act
- oExperience of successfully working to support a variety of professionals in a busy and demanding environment
- oExperience of prioritising daily and ongoing tasks to meet both routine and non-routine deadlines

- oAbility to plan and organise effectively
- oGood interpersonal skills at all levels
- oStrong written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with a range of individuals at all levels and across a range of organisations
- oAbility to identify confidential and sensitive issues
- oSelf- motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative and with minimal day to day support
- oAbility to travel as required to locations in Wales
- oKnowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and systems, including electronic patient records i.e. WPAS/Myrddin, WCCIS, RIO etc.
