Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of hotel services (cleaning, waste, linen, portering, grounds maintenance) across the site.

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to hotel services staff, assisting with rotas and resource deployment.
  • Undertake routine quality inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and policies.
  • Monitor contractor performance, stock levels, and departmental expenditure, identifying opportunities for service improvements.
  • Maintain accurate service records, produce reports, and utilise facilities management systems.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
  • Relevant supervisory qualification or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Health and Safety awareness training.
  • Experience working within facilities, hotel services, estates or operational support services.
  • Experience coordinating day-to-day service delivery.
  • Experience supervising staff and/or contractors.
  • Experience undertaking audits and quality inspections.
  • Experience resolving operational issues and responding to service user concerns.

As a Site Coordinator within our Estates and Facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our sites remain safe, clean, compliant and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff every day. Based across our healthcare locations, you will coordinate a wide range of facilities services including domestic cleaning, waste management, linen, portering, grounds maintenance, security and catering liaison activities. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
