Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader to join the Greenwich Neighbourhood Nursing Team. Essential criteria
- BSc Specialist Community Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing
- Evidence of managing a District Nursing Team at Band 6 level for minimum of 2 years
Desirable criteria
- Mentor Course or recognised alternative, eg.998
- Proven Senior Nurse clinical experience at band 6 or equivalent in an acute or community setting
- Extensive experience of assessing and providing care to people with complex and long term conditions
- Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within organisational boundaries
- Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in order to manage difficult situations/conflict with positive outcomes
- Proactively seeks opportunities for service improvement and solution findings
- Commitment to own professional development and willingness to develop new clinical skills/competencies
- Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within organisational boundaries
