Role summary
This role supports the Medical Education Team by coordinating student/learner clinical activity across the Trust. It involves providing administrative support to the Placement/Medical Education teams and the wider Education Directorate. Key tasks include accurate data collection and input into IT systems for reporting, maintaining clear processes for clinical provision, and supporting activity across all Trust sites. Travel to other sites and Higher Education Institutes for exams/events is required.
Essential criteria
- Evidence of recent clerical experience
- Experience of MS Office software
- Understanding of Data Protection and Confidentiality issues.
- Excellent advanced keyboard skills
- Experience using bespoke computer software packages for accurate inputting, reporting, and data analysis e.g. ESR & Bookwise
- Extensive experience of data systems including report writing
- Problem solving experience.
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to interpret information requests, analyse data, produce reports

- Knowledge and experience of using Bookwise
- Experience of planning and organising a team
- Working knowledge of project management principles and methodology

- GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (9-4) or functional skills level 2 or equivalent experience

Job summary
As part of the Medical Education Team, the post holder will support with the coordination of all student/learner clinical activity across the Trust providing administrative support to both the Placement/Medical Education teams and the wider Education Directorate.
