Role summary
This role assists the Head and Deputy Head of Fire Safety and Security in delivering a professional fire safety service. Key duties include monitoring fire safety standards and delivering fire safety training to staff. The post holder will also arrange fire drills, conduct inspections, and respond to fire safety enquiries. Essential criteria

- University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, inclusive of Black Country Procurement Group and North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
- Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board.
To assist the Head and Deputy Head of Fire Safety and Security and the Fire Safety Team to deliver a professional fire safety service by monitoring fire safety standards and delivering fire safety training.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver training to all staff throughout UHNM
- Arrange fire drills and practical demonstrations of first aid fire fighting equipment
- Undertake regular inspections of all premises in accordance with Firecode
- Respond to general fire safety enquiries and correspondence
