These terms apply when you use careerhive.org and any CareerHive plan or service. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
You must be 18 or over to use CareerHive. Anyone can create a free account with an email address. Keep your sign-in details private. Accounts are for one person only and must not be shared. We may restrict an account where we see signs of sharing or misuse.
2. What CareerHive is, and is not
CareerHive brings together publicly available NHS vacancies and adds sponsorship guidance, job matching, alerts, tracking tools and HiveMind AI. CareerHive is not an employment agency, recruiter, immigration adviser or legal adviser. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to the NHS or any NHS Trust.
3. Plans and what they include
- Free: browse jobs and see sponsorship labels.
- Member: full job adverts, apply links, job alerts, saved jobs and the application tracker.
- Pro: everything in Member, plus HiveMind AI tools and access to the CareerHive Skool community.
Current prices are shown on our plans page. We may change what each plan includes as the service develops, but we will not remove a core feature from a plan you have already paid for during that billing period.
4. Payments, renewals and cancelling
- Member and Pro are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly from the day you subscribe. They renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- If you switch to a higher plan, the difference is charged straight away. If you switch to a lower plan, the unused amount is credited against your next bill.
- If a renewal payment fails, we will retry it for a short period before your plan ends.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you in advance, and the new price applies only from your next renewal after that notice.
- Members who joined on an earlier membership keep the terms and price they signed up with.
5. One-off purchases
- Single job pass (£1.99): for the job you bought it for, gives you the full advert and apply link, two supporting information drafts and one edit with HiveMind AI, one likely interview questions run and one mock interview. It cannot be moved to a different job. Your work is saved so you can come back to it. If something fails for a technical reason, that use is returned to you.
- Application Assist: the CareerHive team prepares and submits applications on your behalf, up to the number of jobs included in your purchase (currently 15). A job counts as used once it has been submitted. You will need to complete our onboarding form before we can begin.
6. Refunds and your right to cancel
Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content or services. Because CareerHive gives you access straight away, you agree when you pay that your access starts immediately. This means:
- For subscriptions, you can cancel within 14 days of first subscribing and ask for a refund, less a fair amount for any use you have already made.
- For a single job pass, the right to cancel ends once you first use any part of it.
- For Application Assist, you can cancel within 14 days. We will refund the payment less a fair amount for any applications already submitted. Once all included applications are submitted, it cannot be refunded.
This does not affect your legal rights if something we provide is faulty or not as described. To ask for a refund, email hello@careerhive.org.
7. No guarantees
We work hard to keep listings accurate, but we cannot guarantee that any role is still open, correct or sponsoring. Neither our plans, HiveMind AI nor Application Assist guarantee an interview, a job offer or visa sponsorship. Always confirm details with the employer before you apply.
8. HiveMind AI
Anything HiveMind AI produces is a draft. You are responsible for checking, editing and making sure everything you submit to an employer is true and your own. Do not use HiveMind AI to create false or misleading application content. Fair-use limits may apply to protect the service for everyone.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, scrape, resell or republish CareerHive content or job data.
- Do not share your account or try to get around plan limits.
- Do not try to access areas or tools you have not been given access to.
- Do not use CareerHive in a way that breaks the law or harms others.
10. The community
Access to the CareerHive Skool community is included with Pro and is also governed by Skool’s own terms. If your Pro plan ends, your community access may end too.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your Vault page. Please cancel any subscription first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we close an account without good reason, we will refund any unused part of a paid plan.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for missed job opportunities or visa decisions. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as CareerHive develops. If a change significantly affects you, we will let you know by email or on the site before it takes effect.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
